Hello! Last year I received a Finnish visa, but I missed it. On the border (I flew home through Stockholm) I was not fined and the police were not summoned, but the customs officer took a copy of my passport.

Now I got married, changed my surname and made a new passport. In this regard, the question: is it worth to indicate in the questionnaire your last name (which was a violation)? And more: it is better to apply again for a Finnish visa or at the invitation of a Dutch girlfriend in Dutch? Thank you!

Responds Valery Bulygin, head of the visa department of the tour operator «Russian Express»
The girl must indicate her maiden name in the application. If you are invited by a friend, you can open a Dutch visa. But the visa decision always remains with the Consulate.
