Entertainment, Excursions and Attractions in Killarney
Macro Abbey was founded by Franciscan monks in the 15th century. Today, all the premises of the complex are open to visitors, including the rooms of the monks; Stained glass and the altar in the Flemish style deserve special attention. Also worthy of attention is the Cathedral of St. Mary, a wonderful example of neo-Gothic. Certainly worth a visit to the national park of Killarney, on the picturesque territory of which a lot of pedestrian routes are laid. Among its pearls are the Tork waterfall and Ross Castle.
