Add a review about the Leo Tolstoy brand train

Today for all aerophobes and fans of railway romance Leo Tolstoy is not just a writer, but also a comfortable train, with a breeze delivering tourists from the golden-domed capital of our homeland of Moscow to the northern capital of Finland Helsinki .By the way, the trains running along such a route appeared for a long time, but "Leo Tolstoy" is not any sort of a steam train .He famously rushes through the snow-covered winter and the sweeping summer of Suomi and "our vast" at a speed of over 120 km / h .Thus, the path between the two capitals will be just over 12 hours .Fast? Even more!

The proprietary passenger train No. 32A / 31A, named after the author of the great epic "War and Peace", delivers from point A to point B not only tourists, but also their personal cars. For the first time the train with car-car went on the road on November 26, 2012, and since then tirelessly transports four-wheeled friends abroad, "for rest."

As of 2014, the train runs every day except December 31 from the Leningradsky Train Station in Moscow via Tver, St. Petersburg, Vyborg, Vainikkalu, Kouvola and Lahti to Helsinki and back.
"Leo Tolstoy" is not any kind of steam train. He famously rushes through the snow-covered winter and the summer expanses of Suomi and "our vast" at a speed of over 120 km / h.

Departing from Moscow at 22:50, in Tver "Leo Tolstoy" arrives already by one o'clock in the morning, the next stop is Peter, there the train will be at 06:02. After the northern capital - Vyborg (07:59), two customs houses - our Buslovskaya (09:20) and "theirs" Vainikkala (08:45, do not forget about the change of time zones), then Kouvola (10:04), Lahti (10 : 47), Tikkurila (11:42) and stop, the car - Helsinki (12:00).

The schedule is as follows: departure of their capital Suomi at 18:23, then Tikkurila (18:39), Lahti (19:31), Kouvola (20:11), customs Vainikkala (21:14) and Buslovskaya (22:42) , Vyborg (23:18), Petersburg (01:40), Tver (06:40) and Moscow (08:25).

The longest stops on the way, both there and back, will be in Vyborg - 35 minutes, and at customs, but each of them will not take more than 20 minutes.
The train "Leo Tolstoy"

Now a little more about the train itself. First, the cars. In total, 15-18 carriages are hooked to Leo Tolstoy: 5 CB, 8 compartment cars, 1-2 business-class cars, a restaurant car and, on request and bought-out seats, a garage car. The numbering is carried out from the head of the train when departing from Moscow, and from the tail of the train, if the passenger has bought a ticket from Helsinki or from Vyborg.

The fare depends on the class of the car that the passenger will choose. For example, a luxury coupe for two passengers for one will cost about 280 EUR, if the passenger wants to redeem all the coupe, then its cost will be equal to 390 EUR. The place in the first class compartment costs about 150 EUR, the second - about 100 EUR one way.

I must say, the coupe in the luxury car is really worth its money. In addition to air conditioning, a private bathroom with heated floor and shower, the traveler will receive an LCD TV, DVD player, an additional upper sleeping shelf and, of course, the main sleeping place - a comfortable sofa that can be folded into a half-bed.
