Can a Russian citizen with a Crimean residence permit receive a visa to the United Kingdom if there is an invitation?

Russian citizens with a residence permit of the Crimea can pass visa documents at the invitation on general terms and requirements for documents. The decision on issuing a visa is accepted only by the visa consul.

The diplomatic mission says that you can file documents, as this is your right. But we, in turn, warn that the UK did not recognize the annexation of the Crimea by the Russian Federation and therefore do not guarantee the receipt of a tourist visa.
