It is necessary to examine the Old (Altstadt) and the New City (Neustadt). Here you can spend several hours walking along the streets of Cremon, Grimm, Deichstrasse, Reimerstwiete and viewing the preserved old houses. There are two symbols of the city: the Rathaus open to visitors and the St. Michaelis church. You can admire Hamburg from the viewing platform of the St. Nikolai church, which was badly damaged during the Second World War. Restoration was conducted in such a way as to preserve the ruins for posterity, as a reminder of the past.

The Hamburg harbor and the nearby Speicherstadt (Speicherstadt) area, which is often called the City of Warehouses, deserve attention. There are many of them, they are built of red brick and are connected by numerous bridges. Approximately in the same areas are two interesting museums, condiments and coffee and toy railways.
