I plan to go on a vacation to visit friends in Ireland for two weeks. I consider the option of flying through London with a stop in three days. I heard that when you visit the UK, you do not need an Irish visa. Or in my case I will have to file documents for both visas. And if so, what kind of visa should I apply first?

If you stay first in London, then you do not need an Irish visa, as the visa is valid for 6 months and it is possible to visit Ireland .
If you want to visit Ireland first and then the UK, then you need to open 2 visas.
