On April 30, throughout the country, one of its main national holidays is celebrated - the Queen's Day (Konninginnedag / Queen's Day), which is also called National Unity Day. On this holiday it is customary to dress in the orange, family color of the Oran dynasty. The streets of the cities are full of orange ribbons, flowers and flags. One of the most interesting traditions of the Queen's Day is the Fraimarket ("free bazaar"): on this day, the Queen's decree for all stores is canceled VAT.
