If we booked air tickets and apartments in the UAE, where to apply for a visa? In one travel agency we were told that we should send scanned copies of passports and photos to the booked apartments and they will make us a visa. Is it so? In my submission, the visa must be stamped on the passport. Is it really just a visa that is printed on the sheet enough to be presented on the border in the UAE? And how will you be charged for making a visa?

Responds Andrey Zorin, CEO of the UNEX tour operator company, $
Tourist visas in the UAE can be opened only by tour operators and only a few expensive five-star hotels. The apartments do not have such an option.

Tour operators open a visa, usually only when booking through them and the hotel. If the hotel you booked on your own, some companies will undertake to open only a visa, but its cost in this case will grow 4-5 times and the savings from self-booking will be highly doubtful.

To open a visa it is really enough to send by e-mail color scans of the passport and photos. Visas are electronic and the passport is not set. At the border on arrival in the UAE is presented with a printout of the visa. This printout is also required by airlines when registering for flights departing to the UAE.
