Should I go to China in the summer?

Responds information department of "Subtlety of Tourism"
Traditionally it is considered that the best time for rest in China is spring, especially late, and autumn, too late. In summer in such large cities as Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong can be too dusty and stuffy, and in the south it is wet and excessively hot.

At the same time in Hainan, where its own microclimate, in the summer is quite good. Unless the sun can not be seen because of the constant cloudiness and frequent rains. But here as lucky: officially the second half of the summer is considered a rainy season. So it is possible to get on both anomalously dry and clear weather, and on quite traditional cloudy.

In general, if there is no other possibility or do not frighten the possible vagaries of the weather, you can go to China in the summer. With a particularly careful study of the route, alternating city tours with a rest at sea (where summer typhoons and hurricanes are the least frequent), you can get quite a pleasant and busy trip. Just be sure to take a sunblock, sunglasses, umbrellas and raincoats with you.
