Malaysia is a visa-free country for Russian tourists. Please note that the validity of the passport must be at least 6 months.

Dubai - YES! Visas are needed, but only if you leave the transit zone of the airport.
Malaysia - NO! Visas for Russian citizens are not needed within 30 days from the time of entry into the country.
