Praslin Island is located 36 km from the capital of the Seychelles, the city of Victoria. Despite the loud status of the "second largest island of the archipelago" Praslin is so small that it can be crossed in less than an hour. It is only 11 km long and 4 km wide, the population is 5 thousand people. From the island of Mahe to Praslin Island, you can get there in 15 minutes by plane, per hour by boat or for 2, 5 hours by ferry.

Administratively Praslin Island is divided into 2 districts: Be-Sainte-Anne and Grand Anse. None of them has the status of a city. In fact, on the entire archipelago of cities, once or twice and fellowship - that's why the capital, Victoria, the local is often called "the city" - and you will not be mistaken!
